Our 92-point first release, a 2011 Wine & Spirits Year's Best Blend, Cabernet Franc leads this rich, complex Bordeaux-style blend.  Extraordinary aromatics.  Pomegranate, dark plum, and black cherry layered with tobacco, mint, graphite and a savory minerality reminiscent of a Right-Bank Bordeaux.  With 1-2 hours in decanter, this tightly-woven blend gains weight and depth, showing a plush texture and expanding layers of deeper black-fruit flavors anchoring the brilliant high red-fruit notes.  Espresso and bittersweet cocoa linger in the mouthwatering finish.  A special and complex wine that, like a great conversation, continues to evolve over a wonderful evening.  Drink now or cellar for 10+ years.  912 cases produced.
